Reverb Tap Company is based out of Southern California and is under the direction of Critically Acclaimed Artistic Director and Choreographer, Leah Silva.

With their fierce foot work, cutting edge style, and rich tributes and respect to this American art form, these versatile, well trained and accomplished dancers are bringing tap dance to the youth and adult scene in a cutting edge, vibrant, and sophisticated way! 

 

Known for combining dance and film as well as for bringing down the house with their cutting edge performances, these young performing powerhouse dancers from Southern California are fierce, talented, inspired, and driven! Credits include featured entertainment for the Emmy Awards (Governor Balls), Official Selection for the 2018 Newport Beach Film Festival, have produced their own full-length show, featured entertainment at the Young Artists Academy Awards, performance partnership with the American Cancer Society, featured entertainment for McCoy Rigby Entertainment, featured on KTLA News segments, and performances at renowned dance festivals across the United States. 

Reverb Artists have been recommended and have secured professional level jobs, have won Gold and top placements at the International Tap Dance Championships in Germany (IDO), have been finalists and Grand Champion winners of performing arts scholarship programs such as Spotlight, and have received numerous awards and scholarships for their outstanding performances and artistry.

A native of Southern California, Leah Silva is a sought out International Dance Adjudicator and Instructor, Award-Winning Choreographer, Artistic Director, Producer, and Critically Acclaimed Performer.  
 

Leah is well known for her enthusiastic and technique driven teaching style as well as for her expressive, impactful and dynamic choreography. Leah is also recognized for training and mentoring some of the United States's promising and up and coming young tap dance artists. Leah's students have been highly recognized and have achieved top overall placements at dance competitions, have been awarded various scholarships, have been recommended for professional jobs, and have gone and won First Place/Gold and other high level placements at the International Tap Dance Championships in Germany.  Featured in various publications such as Dance Teacher Magazine, some of Leah’s credits and accomplishments include choreographing for the Television Academy's Emmy Awards (Governor Balls), performances for Mattel Toys, vocal and dance performances for American Idol top finalists, was the featured pre-show entertainment for Broadway’s hit touring show- 42ND Street at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, choreography for a Nestle international dance campaign, and appearances on Telemundo (Siempre Ninos), and KTLA News.

 

Through Emmy Nominated Anthony Morigerato's Operation: Tap, Leah's dance film "Forever" was screened in New York at the Symphony Space. Leah’s hit and award-winning choreography has also been featured at acclaimed film festivals, dance concerts, and events such as the acclaimed Newport Beach Film Festival (Official Selection), Angel Stadium, Beverly Hills Wilshire Hotel, AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas, TX, Weinberg Center for the Arts and at the Barclay Theater to name a few. 

 

Leah’s most recent projects include being the Founder and Artistic Director of Reverb Production Company which is also comprised of acclaimed pre-professional and youth tap companies. Her companies have performed across the United States and have become recognized for their various production pieces which combines dance and film, in which they became a 2018 Official Selection for the renowned Newport Beach Film Festival. Leah is also the Founder and Director of the Orange County Tap Festival- a fulfilling tap dance festival where dancers from all over the world come to study and connect.

 

Leah is honored to be residing for a month in Zion National Park in Spring of 2022 as she has been invited to be an artist-in-residence, where she will create an original piece of tap dance work for the National Park and its historical archives.
